BBSA uses the bat rules set by the national Babe Ruth League.
The following information applies to our Spring and Fall Rec Leauges. Travel teams may have different rules depending in which leagues / tournaments they are participating. Please contact the coach for information on bat rules for your team.

BASEBALL
Solid, one piece wood bats are allowed at all levels.
Clinic (Tee Ball)
Tee Ball Bats must have the "USA" stamp
Rookies / Minors / Majors (Cal Ripken)
Bats must have the "USA" stamp
(BBCOR bats are not allowed)
(Tee Ball Bats are not allowed)
Prep / Munson ages 13 - 15 (Babe Ruth)
Bats must have the "USA" stamp OR have the "BBCOR" stamp
Munson ages 16 - 18 (Babe Ruth)
Bats must have the "BBCOR" stamp
SOFTBALL
All Leagues
Bats must be marked as "Official Softball" or "Official Fastpitch"
Bats should have the USSSA and USA(ASA) stamps.
